1. Definition and Form
A judgment is the court's adjudication that the accused is guilty or not guilty of the offense charged, and the imposition of the proper penalty and civil liability, if any; it must be written in the official language, personally and directly prepared by the judge, and signed by him.
3. Grounds for Reconsideration
A motion for reconsideration of judgment may be granted on the ground of errors of law or errors of fact in the judgment, which requires no further proceedings (unlike new trial, which may require additional evidence).
