Chapter X Coverage Table
No cases are assigned under this chapter. Arts. 713–720 are covered by codal reading and recitation only.
Two points recur in recitation and are worth carrying over from earlier chapters:
- Art. 714 is a trap. Ownership of a piece of land cannot be acquired by occupation — land that belongs to no one is of the public domain, which ties back to Chapter I's treatment of Art. 420 and to Malabanan in Chapter V.
- Hidden treasure (Art. 718) cross-refers to Arts. 438–439 in Chapter II and to the usufructuary's right under Art. 566 in Chapter VI. Same rule, three placements in the syllabus.
